Is Daytona Beach Tap Water Safe to Drink?

Daytona Beach and much of Volusia County receive drinking water from Volusia County Water Resources, drawing from a combination of St. Johns River surface water and Floridan Aquifer groundwater. The utility treats and delivers water that meets all Safe Drinking Water Act standards — but meeting legal minimums and delivering the cleanest possible water are different benchmarks.
