The Orlando metro area is a patchwork of municipal water systems, utility cooperative districts, and private wells that reflects the region's explosive and often unplanned growth over the past half-century. City of Orlando residents get treated water from the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC), which operates three reclaimed water and potable water facilities.
