• Account and service information such as your water treatment equipment, service and appointment history, warranty coverage, salt level logs, filter change schedules, and service requests you submit.
• Referral information such as the name and contact details of a person you refer to us, which you may only provide with that person's consent.
• Communications such as messages, reviews, photos, and water test information you send us.

Information collected automatically:

• Usage and device information such as IP address, browser or device type, operating system, pages viewed, and approximate location derived from your IP address or ZIP code. We use this to operate, secure, and improve the Services.
• Cookies and similar technologies used for site functionality and analytics, and to measure advertising performance. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

The mobile app does not access your contacts, photos, precise GPS location, or microphone. Signing in to the portal uses a one time code sent to your email address or phone number instead of a password.

2. How We Use Information

• To provide, maintain, and improve the Services, including scheduling installations, service visits, filter changes, and warranty support.
• To operate your customer portal account, including sending one time sign in codes by email or text message.
• To send service related communications such as appointment confirmations, filter and salt reminders, warranty renewals, and water quality alerts for your area.
• To send marketing communications where permitted. You can opt out at any time by following the unsubscribe link in an email or replying STOP to a text message.
• To administer our referral program.
• To comply with legal obligations and protect our rights, customers, and Services.

3. How We Share Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:

• Service providers who help us operate our business, such as our customer relationship management system, email and text message delivery providers, payment processors, cloud hosting providers, and analytics providers. These providers may only use your information to perform services for us.
• Financing partners, if you choose to apply for financing, and only with your direction.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out or HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is not a condition of purchase. We do not share your mobile number with third parties for their own marketing purposes.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

We keep personal information for as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal and warranty obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Service records tied to installed equipment and warranties are retained for the life of the warranty relationship.

You may request deletion of your personal information or your portal account at any time by emailing info@theh2oheroes.com or calling (866) 426-4376. We will delete your information unless we are required to keep it for legal, warranty, or accounting purposes, and we will tell you if that is the case.

6. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS) and passwordless one time code sign in for the customer portal. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. Children's Privacy

The Services are intended for adults and are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
