How It Works
The Defender uses two dedicated 10×54 tanks working in series. Tank one contains the same premium coconut shell and catalytic carbon blend as The Shield — removing chlorine, chloramines, VOCs, pesticides, THMs, and all disinfection byproducts. Tank two contains TAC (Template Assisted Crystallization) descaling media. As hard water passes through the TAC media, calcium and magnesium ions are converted into microscopic crystals that can't stick to surfaces. The result: no scale buildup on your pipes, fixtures, or appliances — without removing the minerals from the water. Both tanks require zero electricity and produce zero waste water.
