How It Works
The Extractor is a 2 cubic foot system that uses specialized resin to remove both tannin and hardness from your well water. Tannins are large organic molecules that give water a yellow, tea-like appearance, while hardness minerals (calcium and magnesium) cause scale buildup and reduce soap effectiveness. As water passes through the resin bed, the system captures tannin molecules and hardness minerals, replacing them with sodium ions. The system regenerates automatically using salt (sodium chloride), releasing the captured contaminants down the drain and recharging the resin for continued performance.
