Electrolux EWF01 (PureAdvantage) Replacement Filter: Compatible Models & Buying Guide

Electrolux counter-depth French-door refrigerators use the EWF01 PureAdvantage cartridge — also sold under the part number FC300. If your filter indicator is on or the dispenser has slowed to a trickle, here's everything the EWF01 covers.

The compatible option

The Waterdrop EWF01-compatible filter we stock matches the PureAdvantage form factor and uses an activated carbon block to reduce chlorine taste and odor. It clicks into the original housing with no leaks and no adapters. See the EWF01-compatible filter in The DIY Shop.

Swap it in a minute

  1. Press the release button on the filter housing (upper-right interior on most models).
  2. Pull the old cartridge straight out.
  3. Slide the new cartridge in until it clicks.
  4. Flush 2–3 gallons through the dispenser and reset the filter light.

Never buy this filter at the last minute again

The EWF01 should be replaced about every six months. On our product page you can choose Auto-Ship — pick a 3, 6, or 12-month schedule and a fresh filter shows up at your door right when it's due. Same price as one-time purchase, cancel anytime, and your ice never develops that end-of-filter taste.

A note for Florida homes

Most Tampa Bay area utilities disinfect with chlorine or chloramine, and that taste goes straight into your ice and drinking water when a fridge filter is past its prime. If the water tastes off even with a fresh filter, the issue is usually what's coming into the house — not the fridge. We'll test it for free: book a free in-home water test and we'll show you exactly what's in your tap water.
